How to register for the e-learning platform using Single Sign-on (SSO)

Please note that SSO is only activated if your organization has booked this option. If you are unsure whether it is used for your company, please ask the respective contact person.

If your organization does not use Single Sign-on, follow these instructions instead: How to register for the e-learning platform

Before you can log in on the SoSafe e-learning platform for the first time, one-time registration on the platform is required. Please find the steps on how to activate your user account below: 

Registration via the platform: 

1. Please open the registration page https://elearning.sosafe.de/register.  

2. Choose "Alternative registration" and click on "Registration with Microsoft / SAML / Google SSO". Alternatively you can use one of the links below: 

   • Registration with Microsoft: https://elearning.sosafe.de/?sso=MICROSOFT

   • Registration with SAML: https://elearning.sosafe.de/SAML

   • Registration with Google SSO: https://elearning.sosafe.de/?sso=GOOGLE

3. Afterwards you are either redirected to the page for creating your user account or you need to login with your internal user data first.  

4. If asked, please check your personal data in the registration window and adjust them if necessary.  

5. For the final registration please click "Register" and you are redirected to the e-learning platform. 

Registration via invitation email: 

1. If you received an automated invitation email, you can register directly via the email (sender: noreply@sosafe.de).

2. To do so, please open the email and click on the button "Accept Invitation". 

3. Afterwards you are either redirected to the page for creating your user account or you need to login with your internal user data first.  

4. If asked, please check your personal data in the registration window and adjust them if necessary.  

5. For the final registration please click "Register" and you are redirected to the e-learning platform. 

Login after initial registration:

To log in after registration, please follow the steps below: 

1. Please open the login page https://elearning.sosafe.de/. 

2. Choose "Alternative login" and click on "Login with Microsoft / SAML / Google SSO". Alternatively you can use one of the links below: 

   • Login with Microsoft: https://elearning.sosafe.de/?sso=MICROSOFT

   • Login with SAML: https://elearning.sosafe.de/SAML

   • Login with Google SSO: https://elearning.sosafe.de/?sso=GOOGLE

3. If requested, please log in with your internal user data.

4. To finish please click "Login" and you are redirected to the e-learning platform. 

Please note when using Google SSO

• If the Google login screen does not automatically open by following the link https://elearning.sosafe.de/?sso=GOOGLE, you must allow the popup for this website. Alternatively please follow the registration steps via “Alternative registration / login“.

• If you use the browser Google Chrome in incognito mode, the option “Registration / login with Google” does not appear. The reason is that Google Chrome blocks the cookies for the Google login. You can solve this issue by allowing cookies for third-party providers in your browser options. However, we would recommend either using another browser or doing the e-leaning outside of incognito mode.
