SAP SuccessFactors Integration
1. Overview
You can integrate SoSafe with SAP SuccessFactors (SAP SF) to merge our personalized learning experience along with its analytics capabilities with your existing LMS. This allows you to continue using your compliance tracking and centralized training records without losing the ability to have training data feed into the SoSafe Human Risk OS or having to deal with the inherent limitations of SCORM. At the same time, your leamers can take full advantage of SoSafe’s learning paths from SAP SF like they are used to.

New or updated SoSafe courses are automatically added as items in SAP SF, reducing administrative overhead.Launch lessons from SAP SF

Completion and progress data from SoSafe lessons (both personalized and classical) sync to SAP SF once a day. An immediate sync also occurs as soon as a user completes a lessons.
2. Enabling the integration
Prerequisites
You need to be on the SoSafe Premium or Ultimate tier (Feature Matrix 3.3 or later, with the “Analytics Integrations” feature).
Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get access to the SAP SF Widget in the SoSafe Managers (Settings / Integrations)
SoSafe E-Learning must be set up properly. Learners will have to register on the SoSafe platform or log in at least once if SSO is being used. In addition, if you use Personalized Learning, the learners will have to complete the initial survey on our platform after registering/logging in.
Configuration
Configure SAP SF
Add SoSafe as a training provider in your SAP SF system and allow external course data transfer. We have prepared a detailed guide here: SAP SuccessFactors setup guide
Note:
This setup can be fairly elaborate. Your organization’s deployment might differ from what is covered in the guide. SAP has provided their own documentation here. You may nevertheless need an SAP SF expert (internal or third-party partner) to assist with the initial setup. Any costs or arrangements for your SAP SF configuration are handled directly between you and your chosen partner.
Provide credentials to SoSafe
After configuration, enter your SAP SF credentials via the SAP SF Widget in the SoSafe integrations page.
3. Support
For any questions or issues, reach out to your Customer Success Manager. Complex setups or configuration issues related to SAP SF itself may require contacting an SAP partner. Any partner costs or arrangements are the customer’s responsibility.

Missing SAP SF Widget in Manager (Settings / Integrations)
Confirm you have the correct role and reach out to your Customer Success Manager to make sure the integration has been enabled for your organization.
Data delay
Syncing occurs once a day; however, completions trigger a quicker sync. If data appears outdated, wait a few minutes or check again the next day.
Duplicate or dual reminders
You can disable reminders in SoSafe to avoid sending notifications from both systems.
5. Technical limitations
Full syncs happen daily, but completions trigger a faster sync, typically within minutes.
The initial version of our integration does not support SAP SF curriculums; each SoSafe lesson is treated as a standalone item.
SSO capabilities are not part of the integration at this time.
6. FAQ
Q: What does this integration not cover?
A: It does not include SAP SF curriculum support or SSO functionality.
Q: Will curriculum support be added in the future?
A: There are no immediate plans. We first aim to gather user feedback on the current integration.
Q: Can engineering assist with my SAP SF configuration?
A: Your internal team or an SAP partner must handle SAP SF configuration. We provide the necessary documentation but cannot manage your SAP environment.
Q: Does this work for both existing and new SoSafe customers?
A: Yes. You can even move to SAP SF in the middle of a campaign and all progress will carry over.
Q: Is the integration compatible with both SoSafe’s Classical Learning and Personalized Learning ?
A: Yes. Note that Personalized Learning requires that users register and complete the initial questionnaire before items populate in SAP SF.
Q: Is there a 24-hour delay before data appears in SAP SF?
A: Full syncs happen daily, but completions trigger a faster sync, typically within minutes.
Q: Will you add other LMS integrations (e.g., Workday, Moodle)?
A: There are no plans to add additional LMS integrations at this time. Our focus is on SAP SF.
7. Deprecation Policy
Should SoSafe decide to deprecate the SAP SF Integration, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance. After the deprecation date, the integration will be disconnected, and customers can revert to alternative options such as SCORM packages or using the SoSafe Platform directly.
