Template Studio overview – SoSafe Support

Template Studio helps you create, customize, and manage phishing email templates.

Template overview

You can access Template Studio by logging in to the SoSafe Manager and navigating to Phishing Simulation / Template Studio. Here you will find an overview of all your existing custom templates alongside basic information such as their subject line, difficulty, the available languages and when you last edited them.

Managing custom templates

You can edit any template shown by selecting the pen icon in the corresponding row. Select the Eye icon to preview templates instead. To remove a template, select the checkbox in the corresponding row and click on Remove selected. Select Delete in the dialog window to confirm.

Any edits you make will not change templates that are being used in active campaigns. Similarly, templates will not be deleted from active campaigns.

Creating custom templates

To make a new template, select + Create custom template. You will be shown 2 options:

Create email: You will begin with a pre-built template that you can fully customize to fit your needs.
Recreate froma real phishing: Upload a screenshot of a real email and have our AI turn it into an editable template to use in your simulations.

AI feature overview

Template Studio includes the following AI-powered capabilities:

AI translations

Templates always start out in your organization's default language (see Settings / General). In step 2 of the template creation process, you can create automated translations for the other languages enabled in your organization. It is currently not possible to edit these translations yourself. To re-create the translations, make changes to the content in your default language. This will trigger a retranslation.

Template content does not go through Personally Identifiable Information (PII) filtering or masking before translations are created.

AI difficulty assements

In step 3 of the template creation process (Confirm Details), AI will automatically analyze the template and provide a recommended difficulty rating. You can accept this or override it.

AI learning hints

When you create an email, our AI will generate learning hints. These are shown on the learning page and are tied to specific elements in the template, such as the subject line, sender of clickable elements. They explain how the recipient could spot phishing attempts in the future.

Known limitations

Limitation	Details
Undo / Redo	Partial support only. Changes to the subject line, sender fields and image uploads cannot be undone. Otherwise, Control + Z / Command (⌘) + Z work.
Drafts are not saved	You need to explicitly save your template. You can continue to edit it afterwards, however.
Desktop support only	The editor is optimized for desktop environments. Mobile views are not supported.
Translations cannot be edited.	You can regenerate translations by editing the base language content.
All clickable links lead to the same destination	Whatever click path you set for your template will apply to all clickable elements. This means you cannot have one element lead to a landing page while a different one leads to a learning page for, for instance.
